Explain a typical day in your job.
I love that, with my job, I get to interact with so many of the fabulous people here at Tom’s! I work with a fun group to create exciting new deodorant product ideas, then coordinate the winning ideas through the entire development and launch process, working together with all the great folks from every corner of our company to make this happen.
What attracted you to Tom's of Maine?
In my MSc studies, I was especially interested in medicinal plants and I was so impressed when I used Tom’s of Maine products to find that there were many botanical extracts in the products at therapeutic levels rather just written on the package as marketing jargon! Between the great products and the sustainable environment philosophy, it seemed like a great company to work for. I applied for, and scored a job—that was in 2001 and I haven’t looked back!
What is one word you'd use to describe Tom's?
Trust.
What's your favorite Tom's product and why?
Bay Lime Sensitive Care Deodorant. I love the fresh fruity, spicy fragrance and that it doesn’t stop me sweating yet keeps me smelling good.
