Dental Health for All
Our commitment to dental health goes farther than just making
effective oral care products. When the Surgeon General's
Report, Oral Health in America, was published in
2000, it painted a troubling picture and inspired us to
start
Dental Health For All, a Common Good Partnership.
This partnership sets two ambitious goals: to increase access
to dental care by supporting nonprofit community dental
clinics across the U.S., and to teach people about the
link between oral and overall health.
We've achieved some significant success in the past few years:
- Retailers and consumers have joined Tom’s to support community-based dental clinics with over $611,000 in donations!
- Over 60 school- and community-based dental clinics have
received support from Tom's.
- Nearly 60,000
extra annual patient visits can now be scheduled.
- Over 1800 dental offices have signed on to our
Dental Health for All sampling program and distributed
information about the program to their patients.
