We work hard to positively influence our communities through our Common Good Partnerships: Dental Health for All and the Rivers Awareness Partnership.
Tom's of Maine products—toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, deodorant, and soap—do not contain artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colors, or flavors and are biodegradable.
Our products are made in Sanford, Maine, in our environmentally sensitive manufacturing facility.
5% of employee time for volunteering
Our employees are encouraged to use 5% of their paid time in volunteer work for the organization of their choice.
We create effective personal care products using natural ingredients derived from plants and minerals.
We use earth-friendly recycled and recyclable packaging.
We do not test on animals or use animal ingredients, and we require our ingredient suppliers to follow the same principles.

Tom’s of Maine was founded in Kennebunk, Maine, by Tom and Kate Chappell in 1970.
We employ 127 people.
10% of our profits are donated to charitable organizations.
