Just like everyone else said, it didn't work at all for smell the first day. Then it sorta worked day 2 and 3 but by day 4 my arm pits were bright red (seriously) and itched. Very disappointed. I heard Tom's sold out to a big company, lame.

I was at a metal show this weekend from 4pm to 2am inside an extremely hot venue with a bunch of sweaty guys and still came out smelling fresh. i was surprised and extremely pleased with how well this deodorant works.

OK I have tried nearl every non aluminum (hippy) natural deordurant out there including natural salt crystals trouble is I have sensitive skin (more so since given nup rubbish products!)- and I get v sweaty and bad BO...but this works- I have now got 3 sticks of apricot so I dont run out and smell again-at last!!!

same rash will occur if you don't use deodorant for a week or more during hot summer days. if you don't believe me try it, the mayor difference is that with this product at least you don't smell like a moose

3.I'm willing to bet that most of the rashes posted are caused not by the deodorant its self but your natural chemistry. years of blocked pores now freed, hormones increase causing pores to swell at first and bacteria to form. NATURAL. this will stop

2.This product is a deodorant with mostly an antibacterial effect, meaning you will still sweat and plastering your armpits with half of the deodorant stick will only make you sweat more, hindering any effect at stopping odor with ANY DEODORANT

I bought the long lasting fresh apricot deodorant and within minutes my armpits started BURNING and have broken out into a horrible rash! :( Be careful!

Just started using this this morning. It didn't bother me all day. However, I reapplied later in the day and a burning rash appeared. Love the idea of the product, but burning pits are not for me.

the Long Lasting caused me to have a "chemical burn" under both my underarms. I am constantly feeling itchy and the deodorant is sticky, picking up lint. It is terrible, I cannot recommend this product.

I LOVED the original Tom's Fresh Apricot, but ever Ever since the company switched to "long-lasting" ingredients, this product has become un-wearable. I become itchy, red, and begin to peel when I wear the deodorant for extended periods

After my mom was diagnosed with b r e a s t cancer, her doctor told her to not use antiperspirants anymore. I thought this was odd, so I did research and found that the aluminum found in antiperspirants is linked to b r e a s t cancer and alzheimer's disease. This deodorant works well and does NOT contain any toxic chemicals. After a few hours, depending on how hot it is and what type of clothes I'm wearing, I may have to re-apply, but I'd rather do that than use what I did before and put harmful chemicals and toxins in my body! (and I say "in" because your pores absorb what you put ON your body)

It doesn't last long IF you put it on at the wrong time. People, DON'T PUT THIS ON IF YOU ARE DAMP/WET/SWEATY. Make sure your armpits are cry and clean, and this will help it STAY that way. It really isn't to cover it up, it's to keep the ouder from coming out. It smells great.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Does not block sweat glads. Lymph node swelling is GONE ... The scent wears off fast, but still inhibits funky pit smell =] Would recommend to everyone who does not want aluminum floating in their system

This product smells great, but does not work at all! I bought the apricot long lasting deodorant (24 hour odorprotection), yeah right! Within 2 hours I could smell myself, by the end of the day, I stunk! Would NEVER recommend this product to anyone.

I have used both the Lavender and the Apricot, and both give me a bad rash with intense itching. Disappointed in the product.

I've tried EVERY deodorant on the market and I've spent a pretty penny trying to find one that works for me. I'll give Tom's credit for making a deodorant that lasts all day and keeps the stink away but I don't know how much more I can bear of the fire-burning, peeling pits. I'm not so disappointed that I'm going to stop using Tom's, because trust me, I've tried every deodorant on the shelf and from an odor perspective this one actually works for me, so I'm going to switch from the Apricot to Lavender and see if I can get this rash to go away by ridding of the fruit. I'll get back you on my find. Tom's you're on the right track if you can get the ingredient proportions in check and have your customer’s ODOR and RASH free. Remember everyone’s body type is different so what works for one may not work for another. I’ll deal with the rash before I spend another dime on “clinically proven” deodorants again!

I bought the mountain spring scent. Huge fail. I have never smelt my own funk until now and I don't appreciate it. My girlfriend has the apricot and her armpits are rashed and she smells like a 5 instead of the 10 she is. Thanks Tom.

I bought this on a whim and did not live up to what i expected/hoped for. Like others, by about 2 hours into my day I could smell myself, a rare occurence. The smell is good, might recycle it as an expensive air freshener since it didn't work for me

After a day or so using the wild lavender type, I developed a painful burning rash under my arm pits. So painful!! I used another brand that also contains propylene glycol as the first ingredient, and it also gave me a rash. Trust it, or don't, but the wikipedia article on this chemical said that some investigators think that more than 2% of people with eczema are also allergic to this chemical.Go to the wikipedia page for more. It may have been that chemical, or maybe something else, but let me tell you... burning arm pits are the last thing you need when you are a toddler teacher.

I use the lavender scent and am very happy with it's effectiveness. I stay stink-free from morning till night and only apply once in the morning after shower.

I stopped using antiperspirant altogether for a week but wanted to smell better. I LOVE Tom's for the smell, but I find I must reapply often, for the scent isn't as long-lasting as they advertise. Otherwise, awesome product!

I have tried to switch to aluminum free deodorants, but unfortunately, this doesn't do the trick :( I stink a few hours after use, and even sometimes would break out in rash.

I thought I would try Mountain-Spring scent but it doesn't work at all. It doesn't take long for my armpits to smell bad. Lavendar is much better; lasts longer and doesn't make me smell.

This smells great, but it doesn't last long. My underarms don't sweat all that much, so I thought this would be fine for me; however, it makes my armpits feel damp and sticky all the time, and I start to smell a bit of BO after only a couple of hours.

This product worked great (I got the apricot kind) and I could never smell my body odor! BUT after a week of use my armpits got 1st degree burns and the skin began to peel like crazy (just like a bad sun burn). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

I bought this good smelling product at Wal-Mart. It costs more than others but it has natural ingredients. I think I bought apricot and it smells great. It does not work on me at all. I put it on at 7:00 a.m. and by 10:00a m.it is not working anymore! Should I have gotten a different kind ( Tom's)?

I work in the natural cosmetics industry, and I've seen and tried tons of natural deodorants. This is by far the best I've used. In fact, it's the best deodorant I've used PERIOD. Plus, I love the clean, fresh Apricot scent.

I love the scent (of the lavender) and it did great keeping me fresh all day but after the 4th day I noticed that my underarms were starting to peel - almost like I had a sunburn. This has never happened with any other brand. I don't know if it's an allergic reaction or something but I stopped using it Satruday and switched back to my old brand and the peeling seems to be clearing up... I'm confused and bummed out that I can't keep using it :/

My daughter has had an issue with odor for a couple of years. We have tried ALL the exspensive clinical strength deodorants that are on the market. None of them ever lasted past the first feww days. I found Tom's the other day and bought her one of every kind they had, she tried the lavender scented and it worked but she did not like the smell, then she tried the solid peach or appricot she loves it and it works. Thanks you for making a product that does what it says and that is affordable. Cost was not an issue for us we just needed something that would work. Thank you so much. Keep up the great work. I would reccomend Tom's to anyone. I will probably switch to it myself.

I tried this for the first time about 5 days ago. I bought the unscented one and I swear as soon as I put it on I smell like wet dog - even right out of the shower. Maybe the scented variety would eliminate this problem.

However, after seeing the ingredients and Zinc Ricinoleate listed as one I'm not entirely sure how cruelty free this product is. This ingredient's own toxicology report says it's been tested on rats (oral), rabbits(skin&eyes) and guinea pigs.

Bought this only yesterday decided to give it a try because it's claimed to be natural and I like the smell. Consistency is nice, I like how it dissolves with body heat and won't leave residue on my black shirts.

the only kind of deoderant i wear , it works wonderfully it leaves my skin smoother than any other deodorant i've ever worn, i do not remember instances where it didn't do exactly what i wanted it to. i use the lavender sent and stock up . i'm so glad i can recycle it :D

Tom's long-lasting deodorant is the only natural deodorant that works for me. Tom's regular doesn't work. But this keeps me odor-free all day even when wearing synthetics.

Thought I'd give this a try because it didn't have aluminum. It goes on wet, like water, even though it is a stick. I hadn't smelled odor from myself for years, but after using this by the middle of the day...I needed a shower! Disappointed.
