Does the job. Unfortunately the only one available at my Trader Joe's is the unscented, and while it's a great aluminum-free, fragrance-free deodorant that keeps me from stinking, it's boring. It smells faintly of lemons. Lame! I'd rather try one of the scented deodorants. This product would probably work best for someone with sensitive skin.

We have used your products for years but I am very disappointed I can no longer find your original formula with the lichen and coriander. It was the best ever and it worked as we both have sensitive skin when it comes to deodorant ingredients. And even though it said it was unscented it smelled wonderful. Please tell me where I can find and purchase the old original formula. The UPC code was 7732661925. The new original is not the original and it doesn't work as well or smell as good.

Have used this for years (Honeysu-ckle Rose) with no issues, but the last several months this deodorant makes my armpits so red, rashy, and itchy sometimes I want to claw my underarms out!!! This is so frustrating. Please switch back to the old formula... This one is no bueno!

I have used your product for many years because it was the only one that didn't make me itch. I recently bought the LL unscented deodorant and it makes me ITCH--why would you change the formula?! Thought of trying the OC deodorant, but I guess not.

I grabbed a stick of this before a recent camping trip. Big mistake. My pits stunk. Like, serious funk. They were itchy, too. After two days, I stopped using the product altogether. Horrible.

Where has the real original formula gone? I am so desperate that I finally looked on the website to see if I could find it, but no, this 'original care' is what I just bought, after terrible luck with the new 24 hour and the improved 24 hour formulas. They don't control odor and they all irritate my skin. That is why I have been a LOYAL Tom's user for over 15 years, please, please, please bring back the original formulation, it worked and was gentle on my skin. The new stuff does neither. I have just bought some Dry Idea (my old sensitive skin standby believe it or not.) Please bring the simple old formula back.

I'm a new user, so I don't know about the old formula, but I love this one. It doesn't break me out like some deodorants do and I like that the company has high standards and uses natural products. I plan on trying other products by this company too.

I am glad I checked this website. I did not know about the formula change. I have used Toms Calendula for years. In the past few months I have been getting a rash on my armpits. If they don't return to the old formula, I will have to switch brand

i've used tom's deodorant for a while, and i've also tried the new formula. i didn't get a rash, contrary to the other ratings. i like how it lasts as long as claimed. this deodorant is really a great product for me!

i love love love the old formula and would give it 5 stars; however, only the new formula with hops is now available and it is horrible. i have used the old one for years now, but will stop. generally, i am not happy with tom's being purchased by colgate. i feel they have sold out - the first instance was their switching to plastic toothpaste tubes, which are no longer recyclable for the sake of an easier squeeze. now, the formula changes for their deodorant and the causes for i am skeptical - because it is colgate.

I didn't realize that the formula had changed until I came to this site. I came here to find out why my armpits are red, peeling & itchy - it's horrible and now I know why! I will not buy this anymore - ever. Bring back the old formula, please!!!!

We have just started trying Toms products,so far so good! But I think I solved the problem with their deodorant I have a friend who used it for years, worked great!But I tried it this year, didn't last for even a couple hours. I smelled awful before my lunch break! Bring back this old formula so I can try what she had been raving about, and so we can stick to our more natural lifestyle!

The odor protection and apricot scent have been fine. It is mildly irritating to my skin sometimes; however, my husband had a horrible reaction to the same product. It looked like his armpits had been burned. So proceed with caution!

Worked fine for odor control, but after a couple of weeks my armpits broke out in a swollen, red, itchy rash with peeling skin. I do not have problems sensitive skin. I will be less trusting of Tom's products in the future.

I recently had an unintentional side by side comparison between the old and new formula. The old formula was fantastic, held up all day even through hiking. Then I used the new, and it did not last even 2 hours. I am vastly disappointed with this.

I have used the product for years and loved it better than any deodorant ever...however, I just re-ordered it on Amazon (they show the old product photo which led me to believe it was the exact same product) but I rec'd this 'new' packaging, new look, and I hate the new product...this is NOT the same product they used to make and this one is awful...they should take a lesson from the mistake Coca Cola made some years ago when they messed up the formula and everyone hated it so they went back to the original....Tom's has disappointed me with this product and I will never buy it again

the old stuff worked very well,of the new stuff i've tried the only one that worked was fragrance free crystal confidence (excellent). the citrus gave me "pit rash" so bad I hurt for days. please go back to the old formula!!!

Bought first stick last month.Unknowingly bought "old" formula(don't know why the store still had it).Loved it..worked like a charm.Wife bought her first stick last week-"new" formula.DOES NOT WORK ON HER!! Going back to buy up all the "old" formula!

Tom's used to have the best stuff, but then they changed the one product I can't live without and made this 24 hour protection and now my wife and I can no longer buy the one product Tom's USED to make best. This new stuff is HORRIBLE.

I have used Tom's deodorant for over 20 years, and have always found the product exceptional. With the new product/format I have had burning and peeling skin on my armpits after a few days' use. I am sad to say I can no longer use this product.

First: I want to give the new formula NO STARS, but I couldn’t access the comment box without clicking on a star. Second: As a loyal Tom’s customer for over 10 years, I suspected that you had changed the formula when I noticed that your deodorant DIDN'T STING my just-shaved underarms. I didn't mind the sting because it lasted just a moment and your deodorant worked so well. I'm a construction worker and the Old Formula kept me sweet-smelling all day long, even in the most brutal heat and humidity of the summer. Now, I start to STINK before the 9AM coffee break. Third: Like so many of your long-time customers, my heart is broken because I don't understand why you would change something that was so good. There are so few truly good and effective products out there and it's such a struggle to find the good among so much junk. It was great knowing that I never again had to shop for a decent deodorant. Last point: I am disgusted because I can't stop thinking that the formula change took place after Colgate Palmolive bought the controlling shares of Tom's. Please, please bring back the old formula (with witch hazel and coriander) and prove to your long-time loyal customers that Tom's of Maine didn't sell out.

It gave me a horrible rash. I went on your site to double check the ingredients and see that I am not the only one who has had this experience. I would wager to say that your formula change was not tried out on enough people. I will not buy again.

Colgate bought out toms awhile back and now it looks like the big company doesn't care about what their products do to people anymore. Bring back the old formula and give back Toms of maine to the original owners!

I have always liked everything I've ever used from Tom's and now I have to say I too am dissapointed in the new formula. It took me forever to get my husband to try a natural deodorant and now that we have, I'm the one dissapointed. It doesn't last 24 hours, but I live in a very hot and humid climate so I don't mind re-applying, but I too have had the rash issue. Not so much itching or burning, but it looks like a bad burn and since I live in a very warm climate I'm always sleeveless and this just looks nasty. What could be causing this and what other options do I have? PLEASE address this issue, if I had read all the reviews before purchasing I never would have spent the money and if you don't publicly respond to these complaints then I think you will be losing a lot of sales.

I thought that something was wrong when I started getting a rash under my arms. I thought perhaps it was just my sensitive skin reacting to shaving or the summer heat giving me an irritation. Unfortunately, I have determined that it is from this deodorant. I have never had problems with Tom's products until now. I tried a different deodorant and within just two days, the irritation was completely gone. I wont go back to Tom's until something changes

I've used Tom's deodorant for a several years. I very much prefer the old formula (with witch hazel I think) over the new long lasting version. The new version causes a rash after a few days. Please let me know if the old version is available!!

At first, I really enjoyed this product; however, after a few days I began to develop a rash beneath both of my arms. It looks as if the product has burned me. Usually I do not have sensitive skin, so I am surprised that this occurred.

I used the old deodorant for 15 years. It was the only deodorant that I was not allergic to . The new formulation is terrible. Within 12 hours I had a horrible itchy rash, which is still present after 5 days. I'm in agony.

This deodorant has changed my life... give it 2-3 weeks to adjust to your skin (aka you'll be stinky for a bit while your skin gets rid of the old goop you used to use & adjusts to the new awesome stuff) - and you'll be amazed.

I can not wear most deodorants due to sensitivity. I fell in love with Tom's and now all I can find is the long-lasting which causes the same skin problems I had with other deodorants. PLEASE make the regular formual and the sensitive skin version available again. Folks can find long-lasting anywhere...we can't find the natural, non-irritating formulas.

The new long lasting product is terrible! Why did you stop selling the original formaula??? The new formaula gives me a rash and feels sticky. Time to find a new deodorant from a different company.

Please go back to the original formula. I had just convinced my husband and daughter to switch. They were happy with the old product, then in came the new. It doesn't work. It doesn't work for them or for me, and I used the old for some 20 years.

No, no, and I say no, again! Please bring back the old 12 hour formula! Oddly enough, when I use the new 24 hour formula, it works for about 12 hours, while the older 12 hour formula worked on me like a 24 hour formula. Bring back the witch hazel and matricaria flower extract, please! If I had known the stores wouldn't have it, and you have stopped making it, I would have stockpiled that 12 hour formula. Guess I'll just have to make my own.

Becoming educated on the line connecting aluminum and Alzheimer's disease, I sought all-natural ways to fight the stink. This product works best reapplied a few times daily, which is expected with all natural deodorants. I esp. favor the consistency.

I bought this in Lavender, and I've been using it for several months now. I feel that it's comparable to the other popular deodorants I've used before-- it works just as well as the others. I switched because it's aluminum free. (Aluminum is thought to contribute to amyloid plaques found in Alzheimer's patients.)

Personally I am impressed with this product. It keeps me dry & smelling great all day long. I work live events with thousands of people in a very intense setting, and Tom's delivers what I need every time. My issue is finding it! My local drug store doesn't carry the calendula scent any longer.

I don't usually take the time to rate products, but I felt this one warranted my efforts. I'm all for natural products, and I always try to use ones that are made with natural ingredients, even if it means paying a little more. That being said, I'm pretty sure saving the $5 I paid for this and not wearing deodorant at all would have been a better choice. This stuff does not work at all. My underarms were wet all day long and I had the worst odor of my life. All the clothes I wore while using this now stink...even my coat! I gave it two weeks to be sure, but I beg of you, do not waste your money on this.

I've Tom's deoderant stick products for a few years. I prefer the old unscented/fragrance-free formula over the new. And, I prefer Tom's deoderants over others. It keeps me oder free over the course of my work day and is gentle to my skin (one of the major reasons I use it.).

I have used Tom's deoderants based on different natural ingredients for many years. Recentky this new formulation was all that the store had, so I tried it. It fails miserably! By the end of the day I smell offensive! I have returned all that I purchased for a refund.
