want a flouride product that works

Mar 18, 2013

I have to say I am surprised at all the negative reviews on the taste. While I would like a product that taste good (which I think the juicy mint does) I don't rate a product just on taste. It works...period.

Long time user of Tom's products

Tom's has done it again! Another good product that not only tastes good, but also prevents cavities and is made from good, healthy ingredients. I have used Tom's products (ie; toothpaste and soap, etc.) since the company began and this is just another example of one that accomplishes what it is supposed to without the use of all the dyes and additives other harmful ingredients other companies use.

I too was a big fan of the Spearmint. Please bring it back!

I recently checked many stores trying to find the Spearmint anticavity mouthwash with no luck. It seemed my only option with Tom's fluroide rinse was to try what seems to be the only flavor now which is a strange mild orangey mint. I do not care for the new flavor, it does not leave my mouth feeling refreshed like the previous Spearamint did. I am 40 and my dentist recommends swishing with a fluoride rinse, it seems from the comments that I am not the only adult that prefers the previous flavors, I would be interested in the Cinnamom or Peppermint as well if they were as refreshing as the Speramint. I have also had difficulty securing the new cap and although I actually like the look and shape of the new bottle I am unsure if the new "sparkly" bottle is "safe" or for example BPA free, etc.

This is not a beverage. So it is incomprehensible to me that people rate products like this one, on the flavor, rather than whether or not it is effective at what is suppose to accomplish. This is a good product, and I live in Florida, not Maine

thankful for fluoride rinse without dyes and saccharin

Dec 04, 2011

I really like this new juicy mint flavor much better than the old citrus mint. I used to force myself to use the old flavor, which made me shudder, but now I look forward to the juicy mint.

I am also dissatisfied with the too sweet flavor. More, less sweet flavors of the anti-cavity rinse would be great.

I have tried all three current "flavors" of your mouthwash and am very dissatisfied. I was a big fan of the cintamint flavor. Can't believe it was discontinued. I have also heard similar comments from others.

This is probably my favorite mouthwash, natural or otherwise. My big problem with mouthwash has always been that, even after I rinse out, the taste stays with you. The taste dissipates right away with this one. I really like the somewhat sweet taste.

I wanted to give this new flavor zero stars, but couldn't. Please bring back the spearment fluoride rinse, the new disgusting flavored rinse is to sweet and not at all refreshing. I will never by the new rinse again.

I've been a Tom's customer for years. Why all the product changes and creepy packaging since being sold? We don't want new packaging. This is now the only anticavity mouthwash you make and it is disgusting! Please change back!

I really miss my old mouthwash. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the citrus mint. It is the only mouthwash I've been able to tolerate. I thought I was in heaven when I found it 3 years ago. This new recipe is way too sweet and does not leave a fresh clean feel or taste.

I LOVE this mouthwash with fluoride. Not only is it free from saccharine (which is in almost all other conventional fluoride rinses), it has the highest % of fluoride available to keep teeth their best.

Yuck! I want the old spearmint & cinnamint flavors back. Make a different version for children and give us back the grown-up flavors...

Have been using ToM products fro 40 years. this is the first time I almost threw up. The taste is awful, too pungent , juicy? what juice? It tastes fake. Give me the old peppermint baking soda mouth wash!

Tastes like a kids flavor, like bubble gum, not a clean mouthwash taste at all. Really no point in using a mouthwash that tastes bad.

C'mon people, it's not THAT bad. It did taste a little weird at first, but it grew on me and now I like it. A little more mint and little less juicy would've been better, but it's pretty good. And it doesn't burn at all.

I am very disappointed in the new version of your fluoride mouthwash. Please bring back the spearmint version - it was refreshing and seemed healthy for my gums. The new version is too sweet and non-refreshing. Plus the cap is difficult to open.

I am seriously disappointed in this new fluoride mouthwash. It is not at all refreshing to me.I hate the "flavor" cloying & artificial. Tastes like cheap candy & weird.Sorry to be so negative. Your prior Peppermint fluoride mouthwash was a godsend-there was no product on the market that compared, incredibly refreshing, clean & natural tasting. PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK !!! Offer it along with the new one for customers that like the new one.... I do like the orange lable anti-cavity toothpaste- I am grateful that is still a good effective product for me. Pam thank-you

I have sensitivities to almost all artificial sweeteners, so Tom's Anti-cavity wash is one of the few rinses I can use without suffering a severe migraine. Thank you so much for these products.

This is a very good mouthwash. The former one would burn your mouth, this one gets straight to the point just anti-cavity mouth rinse. Excellent product, please don't switch back to the old one.

Juicy mint? Why? You don't drink OJ after brushing your teeth, so why make this strange, awful flavor? I am switching to Natural Dentist. I love Tom's but this is disappointing. Won't try Tom's other mouthwashes because they don't have the ADA approval seal on them, this is the only one that does.

This flavor is pretty gross--it tastes like bubblegum. Is it designed to appeal to kids? Why don't any of the other flavors have fluoride? Kids aren't the only ones who get cavities. I miss the old mouthwash! I may have to switch to another brand in order to get anti-cavity protection and a fresh, minty flavor.

The new taste is awful, like bubblegum with a lingering sickly sweet aftertaste. Somebody made a bad decision with this product. Please bring back the original.
