I've tried your recent offering of "wicked" something or other. Unfortunately it was disgusting and nothing like the Spearmint version you used to make with witch hazel and I returned it for a refund. You should return to the previous formula.

They offer other flavosr at my local store, but this is the only mouthwash that my girlfriend will use. It is not too sweet for her. If you want a stronger or less sweet flavor, buy another Tom's mouthwashes. It is not like you have to go through a half-gallon of it. If I don't like a mouthwash, I still finish it - less waste in the trash or down the drain. Isn't being gentle on the environment one of the core values of Tom's?

Tom's, you gone WAYYY downhill! Artificial sweetener, "poloxamer" derived from "oil" and "natural gas," .... "Natural FLAVORS!" This product might be okay only as a breath freshener, but there are no health benefits; in fact, I think the opposite!

Over a year's worth of complaints and poor ratings on the website and they still haven't brought back the old formula. It is a mistake as big as "New Coke" and I could not be more upset that Tom's "Cl*ssic" Mouthwash has not yet been reintroduced.

Colgate has apparently decided to buy Tom's and destroy it, rather than compete with Tom's superior products. Search for baking soda mouthwash and make your own and save money. I would buy Tom's formula if it returned. It won't. Goodbye.

Spent a while in the aisle of my neighbourhood drugstore pondering a health conscious choice. Chose this mouthwash and I am returning it tonight. The taste was WAY TOO SWEET and the cap is ridiculous. I'd rather gurgle with a mint julep.

Horrified that the Spearmint with witch hazel and aloe vera mouthwash is gone, and product now has a bunch of chemicals in it. No wonder so many negative comments! Will not buy Tom's or any Colgate-Palmolive products until original is brought back.

My wife and i are very disappointed in the reformulation of the spearmint Cleansing mouthwash, which lacks the aloe vera and witch hazel of the previous recipe. It's simply not as soothing as it used to be. Please put the aloe and witch hazel back.

I loved the old mouthwash. It was the only one I used as it had great ingrediants like witch hazel and aloe vera, and there was no other like it. Now it is just another product sitting on the shelf, indistinguishable from all the other mouthwashes. What a disgrace. Is this what is going to happen to all Tom's products now that it is owned by Colgate-Palmolive?

This is nothing like the original. You need to go back to the original product. While you are at it, get rid of the new cap, which is impossible to open without pliers--what were you thinking! Until you do, I will look for another brand.

I presume customers are asked to rate a product to identify satisfaction and modify products accordingly. If you read these reviews and truly value your customers, you will return to your old baking soda/witch hazel recipe.

You have ruined a once great product by discontinuing the witch hazel mouthwash. The new formula leaves my mouth dry and with a chalky feeling in my mouth. It is bad enough you added fluoride to your tooth paste but this is the end no more for me.

The witchhazel formula was the only mouthwash that helped my gum problem. This new formula is nasty tasting and my gum problem has now returned. I will never buy this product again. Are you reading these comments? Corporate needs to pay attention.

What is the cleansing ingredient in this new formulation? It doesn't have aloe vera or baking soda any longer. Ingredients list is nothing but water, and natural sweetener and oils. Very disappointed in this new, not-improved, formula.

tried the new stuff---its terrible. Bring back the old formulas. After that I learned colgate bought Tom's so I went out and bought up all the cleaning baking soda Tom's I could find, and when that's gone I'll look into other alternatives.

Please bring back the old formula that ACTUALLY left my mouth feeling clean. The baking soda, witch hazel, aloe formula was awesome, and very soothing on my gums after flossing. This stuff, along with the Wicked Fresh, and Anticavity are nasty.

I like this product a lot, and the peppermint helps clean my sinuses, but I also kind of miss the old witch hazel product. I am glad that I saved the top from my older bottle because the new top is hard to squeeze and turn when my hands are wet which they usually are when I am trying to get the top off. I hope they change the top to the regular top again.

Wow! Like the other reviewers, I'm also incredibly disappointed. I've been using the Peppermint Baking Soda mouthwash for years. I loved it. And when I would occasionally get a canker sore, sometimes it was the only thing that would help. This doesn't hold a candle to the old version. I am so upset you changed the formula. Typical corporations... I'm no longer a customer of Tom's.

Just want to chime in with the rest of the crowd...I DO NOT like the new versions. Taste is horrible. I was lucky to find the old version and stocked up. I miss the witch hazel spearmint. I WILL NOT buy Tom's of Maine unless the old form is restored. It's shameful how these great independent brands lose focus when the big guys buy them up. Sell out!

I ran out of the old formula about a week ago and was hesitant about trying the new stuff, due to all the bad reviews. I must say, now it's like any other mouthwash on the shelf. I tried it once and pored the rest down the drain. Sorry guys.

The original formula was the only mouthwash I would use. This new stuff is wretched, and I'd just as soon use plain baking soda to wash my mouth with. Colgate, I ask you please: go back to the old formula. That way you'll keep all of your old customers and gain new ones too.

Long time user completely disgusted by new formula. The new peppermint-baking soda mouthwash was so sweet it made my teeth hurt for 15 minutes after using it, I threw the brand new full bottle down the drain. The old spearmint mouthwash was amazing and healing, this new spearmint formula is bland and too sweet with no real benefits. The price is still ridiculously high, I was willing to pay for it in the past but no more. Thanks for selling out Tom and Kate! Bring back the old formula.

I looked around at 3 different stores for the old stuff and finally I asked about it at one drug store and they said this is the New product & that was all they can get - SO I tried it. As a chemo patient 10 years ago, I was searching for an alcohol-free mouthwash and this was the only product available. Its non-harsh, bright and refreshing flavor won and kept me a continued user.

Old version was so much better. Aloe, Witch Hazel, and Vitamin C have all been removed & new version is basically flavored water with preservatives. I hope Tom's realizes the error in ruining this formerly great mouthwash and changes it back.

As an expecting mom, having my mouth clean helps me feel less queasy. I used to think that alcohol-based mouthwashes were the way to go, but I am converted. This mouthwash helps to neutralize and add that extra clean feel naturally. Thanks Tom!
