This is for the unscented Tom's. Same as others. I've never had irritation like this before. I caught it early but there is the clear beginnings of a rash with peeling. How did Tom's not catch this?

Having allegic reactions? Maybe you did what I did: accidentally picked up Tom's Naturally Dry instead of this one, Original Care. ND has aluminum chlorhyrate. OC does not. OC has worked for me for 30+ years.

Have used this for 30+ years and been satisfied. Recently accidentally got Tom's aluminum chlorhydrate stick instead and suffered bad allergic reactions.

Sitting here at work. Been using this deodrant for the past few days or so. Wife was worreid about aluminum in other deodrants and it's impact on dementia. My grandparents both had dementia, my grandma thought she was Ella Fitzgerald once, she also thought she was a cannibal. I digress, I am sitting here at work soaked to the bone in self-consiousness. I smell like BO. When I smell the actual stick, the stick smells like BO too!! It's like a BO scented deodrant!! I smell all the time and I feel sweaty under the arms. I feel like I've been camping for weeks or something. Going to buy some deodrant at lunch with some aluminum. Dementia here we come, should we cover the children before we eat them??

For the first two weeks, this deodorant worked great, felt great, and smelled great. Unfortunately, I didn't know the occasional itchiness I felt would turn into a red, peeling rash that stings when touched.

I first started using Tom's about 3 years ago. I have tried other gels, roll ons, and deodorants, but Tom's with its stance on clean and pure ingredients and not overly perfumed it has become my standard deodorant of choice!

Just Tried this 3 days ago...so far its working pretty well for me, no major issues related to rashes or skin peeling. at end of the day at some point i'd do smell a little bit but not terrible smell,just the natural smell, if reapply no issues.

I have a severe allergy to perfume and this is the only unscented deodorant out there that holds up to my daily activities and keeps me fresh!!

This stuff burns like a mother. I'm not sure why they changed the formula. It didn't used to burn and I've spent money now wasted.

Please bring back the Calendula formula. I have noticed a deep red color under my armpits and am so convinced now that this new formula IS the problem after reading these reviews!!

I LOVED the ORIGINAL RECIPE CALENDULA deodorant sick, the new one irritates my skin. So 1 star for the long lasting stick and the new formaula and getting rid of the natural "scents" but 5-stars for the OG calendula stick no longer available...

It worked great for a couple of days, but now whenever I apply the deodorant my underarms immediately turn bright red and there is a burning sensation for hours. It hurts to wear any shirt that touches the skin under my arms. Not using this anymore

Nearly all deodorants irritate my skin, especially with repeated use. The best ones lasted a few months. The Original Care Tom's deodorant has lasted over 5 years of daily use and has never felt itchy. Please bring back the full line of scents!

Thank god I am not the only one who has had this problem!! The first few days I used this product nothing happened but after a while skin started to peel from my armpits!! and it would keep irritating my skin

Thank goodness I have found your website and see others have the same problem as I have--itchy armpits that I scratch raw. I switched to Tom's because I wanted a natural deodorant without the anti-perperant and it works great for me as a deordorant; however I itch so badly that I have scratched by armpits raw and leaking lymph fluid. I'm sorry to say that I will have to find another product and will be returning my unused sticks for a refund. :(

Notice any good review is on the OLD tom's types??? The NEW Tom's burns and dries out your underarms. My bf and I used to LOVE this product. Why change a good thing??

Awful stuff.. I must say my underarms never looked so bad with all the BURNT skin there. I feel self conscious when I lift my arm up. I am done with this product. I will be reporting it. I never read my armpits would get burmed!

I AM NOT A HEAVY SWEATER IN THE ARMPITS AREA, SO I JUST NEEDED A DEODORANT W/O AN ANTI-ANTIPERSPIRANT. THE TEXTURE IS NOT "DRY" PER SAY,BUT NOT UNPLEASANTLY SLICK, EITHER. GLIDES ON NICELY WITH A VERY PLEASANT HOPS SCENT.

I switched to Tom's because it's all natural. The scent is nice & the effectiveness is mediocre. I agree with a previous review - coverage is good for about 10 hours. I'm okay reapplying, but definitely have to plan ahead.

This new 24 version causes the skin to peel. Why on earth would you abruptly stop the other when it was selling, have you ever heard of segment markets ? I am now forced to look for another product :( before jumping without looking first.test markets

This is not as effective as the unscented formula which contains zinc salts as well as hops. Why the change?

Doesn't always work for the entire day, but definitely lasts at least 10 hours, doesn't give you sticky armpits, and is the best natural deodorant I have ever used.

I bought this product b/c I wanted an aluminum free deodorant but my underarms are so badly irritated that I cannot continue using it. And, it doesn't seem to work as well as I had hoped when I really sweat b/c I can smell BO and that is not acceptable. My mom used your products for years and never had these issues...what happened to your product? I'm so disappointed I'm going to return the unopen one that came in the multi pack.

I really like the Fresh Apricot scent. And after trying numerous other "natural" products, this one actually Works!! If you want any product to work, try swiping your underarm with alcohol & letting that dry before you apply. That's the secret.

I bought a case from my buying club, and boy am I sorry. Something has changed in the formula--big time. I never had body odor with the old one, but the new "hops" formula doesn't even get me through the day without pretty stinky underarms.

I've been looking for a non-aluminum deodorant but had trouble finding one that worked. I just picked this up at Trader Joe's today and went for an hour-long jog. I'm smell-free! Love the faint lemongras scent too...

I bought Tom's for the first time upon the advice of someone who told me it was very good, though they hadn't used it in a while. Apparently that makes all the difference because while I was looking forward to the scent, which is fine, the effectiveness of the product is poor. An hour after the shower and I feel smelly and self conscious. I didn't try Tom's for the natural perks, so it's back to the aluminum regular products for me.

If it's not broke...why fix it? The new formula is terrible. After 15 minutes of the "long lasting" formula, I break out in sweat and stink. I have looked everywhere for the original care and am sad that it's gone. I won't use Tom's anymore.

My husband used Tom's deodorant for over 20 years and loved it. Unfortunately, something in the new formulation has made it unusable for him. He tried four different scents before giving up. It got to the point where even one swipe of deodorant turned his underarm skin bright red and caused a burning sensation for hours afterward. I have returned five sticks to Tom's. I hope to receive a refund as described in the Product Guarantee on this website. We are now shopping around for other brands of natural deodorant.

I have used Tom's my whole life and can't even tough the new "long lasting" formulations without breaking out in a rash and smelling to high heaven. Its terrible. Can't we get the old formulation back? Because this new stuff is...gross.

Not enjoying the new formula very much, it has made my underarms red, dry and itchy - and I am not particularly sensitive to products, natural or otherwise. The lovely calendula seems to have disappeared and been replaced by an overly sweet apricot.

I just bought 1 deo stick at my localFood Lion and it works great!Not sure if it's the new formula or the old-their turn over is very slow and natural products tend to sit on their shelf.Mine has a sticker on the cap written w. small letters though.

I've been using the original formula in the calendula scent for years with great results. I agree with other reviewers when it comes to the new formula: it's awful. I've been searching for a replacement, but nothing is as good as the original.

Does the job. Unfortunately the only one available at my Trader Joe's is the unscented, and while it's a great aluminum-free, fragrance-free deodorant that keeps me from stinking, it's boring. It smells faintly of lemons. Lame! I'd rather try one of the scented deodorants. This product would probably work best for someone with sensitive skin.

We have used your products for years but I am very disappointed I can no longer find your original formula with the lichen and coriander. It was the best ever and it worked as we both have sensitive skin when it comes to deodorant ingredients. And even though it said it was unscented it smelled wonderful. Please tell me where I can find and purchase the old original formula. The UPC code was 7732661925. The new original is not the original and it doesn't work as well or smell as good.
