Jennifer Lafrance, B. A. Project Chemist, Body Care Ms. Lafrance has a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in biochemistry from the University of Southern Maine. She also studied Pharmacy at the University of Connecticut. She joined Tom’s of Maine in February of 2000 in a quality assurance role and moved into her current role in November of the same year. Prior to joining Tom’s of Maine, she worked as a quality control technician and microbiologist at the Fresh Samantha juice company. Ms. Lafrance is primarily involved in body care formulation and testing. She has worked on various new products, such as long-lasting deodorants and body sprays, as well as making significant improvements to existing products, such as shampoo, bar and liquid soaps, and shave cream.
