Jacquelyn R. Villinski, B. A. Research Analytical Scientist Ms. Villinski earned a B.A. of Liberal Arts in Chemistry from the University of Maine at Farmington. She joined Tom’s of Maine in 1994; prior to that, she worked in the Organic Chemistry Department at Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Analytical Services Division. Ms. Villinski is involved in product formulation and analytical support for the oral care, body care, and research groups. Early in her tenure, she formulated the original liquid soap and body wash product lines. In recent years, she developed and validated testing methods for measurement of active ingredients in fluoride gel toothpastes, antiplaque toothpastes, muscle balm, and chest rubs. She has collaborated with colleagues at Tom’s to provide supportive data for publications in several scientific journals. Ms. Villinski also serves as a resource for instrument troubleshooting and repairs in the laboratory, and is serving on the organizing committee for the 2007 American Society of Pharmacognocy’s Annual Meeting, which will be held in Portland, Maine.
